The Mineral Area College Law Enforcement Academy is designed to provide regional law enforcement training to law enforcement agencies and to students who are interested in achieving a career as a peace officer.

MACLEA is recognized by POST (Peace Officer Standards and Training) as an accredited training program. With a 95% employment rate after graduation, MACLEA is the best choice for future law enforcement officers.

MACLEA also offers a full range of Continuing Education Hours (CEH) for licensed Missouri peace officers at both the student and instructor levels. Standards for peace officer continuing education are set by POST—the Missouri Peace Officer Standards and Training program.
