HELD AT THE MINERAL AREA COLLEGE LAW ENFORCEMENT ACADEMY NOTE: MACLEA has moved! We are still on the Mineral Area College campus, but are now located inside the Industry and Technology Center. SPACE IS LIMITED! PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED! In today's times, it's never been more important for patrol officers and patrol supervisors to be confident in decision-making when it comes to critical incidents and Active Shooter scenes. However, it is even more important for the Command Staff to have knowledge of their role in an incident and how the lack of supervision from the top can be detrimental, not just for the incident, but for the whole department and those responding to assist. This three-day course is for any and all ranks in law enforcement. It is a complete and thorough breakdown of how an active shooter incident should be handled from the first 911 call to when the scene and incident are concluded. The course contains classroom instruction, open dialogue, and tabletop exercises. This course is also open for any emergency management, 911 coordinators, dispatchers, firefighters, Paramedics/EMS personnel to attend as well.
