Service Description

*All attendees must have first attended our basic building entry and room clearing course. This course is designed for the everyday patrol officer who encounters situations of having to make entry into buildings and clear the rooms within. Officers that attend this course will receive training in a crawl, walk, run fashion. Officers will learn single-man, two-man, three-man, and up to four-man entry techniques that will benefit them in their job duties on a daily basis to conduct a building search effectively. The advanced course is a continuation of the basic course and will consist of additional low-light, a larger building format, multiple teams, and deconfliction. Even though this course is for the everyday patrol officer, it draws techniques from other courses we provide, such as active shooter, SWAT tactics, and CQB techniques. CEH Hours (1-hour legal), (7-hour skill development) EQUIPMENT NEEDED: Training Clothing. Vest, Duty Belt, Handgun, Rifle, Pen, Paper. NOTE: MACLEA has moved! We are still on the Mineral Area College campus, but are now located inside the Industry and Technology Center.
