PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED! FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT PERSONNEL ONLY This course examines lawful police responses to public recording encounters through the lens of the First and Fourth Amendments. Officers will apply reasonable suspicion, probable cause, and de-escalation principles to make sound decisions, reduce liability, and maintain control and professionalism during recorded interactions.
