Service Description

0800 - 1200 | Course Cost: $100 for non-contract students. Officers receive 4 Hours of CLEE Credit upon course completion: 1 Hour Legal 1 Hour De-Escalation 2 Hours Interpersonal Perspectives HELD AT THE MINERAL AREA COLLEGE LAW ENFORCEMENT ACADEMY SPACE IS LIMITED! PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED! FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT PERSONNEL ONLY This course examines lawful police responses to public recording encounters through the lens of the First and Fourth Amendments. Officers will apply reasonable suspicion, probable cause, and de-escalation principles to make sound decisions, reduce liability, and maintain control and professionalism during recorded interactions.
